Members Health Board Appointments

Members Health Fund Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Waterhouse, CEO of Phoenix Health, as Board Chair, and Scott Williams, CEO of Police Health Fund, as Deputy Board Chair.

Members Health also acknowledges the retirement of Ron Wilson, CEO of Navy Health, from his role as Board Chair. We thank Ron for his longstanding leadership and his significant contribution to Members Health and the not-for-profit health sector.

The Alliance welcomes Lorraine Thomas, CEO & Managing Director of HCF, as a new Director on the Members Health Board.

Sharon Waterhouse said: “Members Health plays a critical role in supporting Australians’ access to high‑quality, member‑focused private health cover. I’m honoured to be appointed Chair and thank the Board for their trust and support as we strengthen our collective voice and continue delivering value for members.”

Scott Williams said: “Member‑owned funds exist for one simple purpose: to put members first. I’m looking forward to supporting the Board as we strengthen advocacy for a health system that puts people, not profits, at the centre of every decision.”

Lorraine Thomas said: “Members Health and HCF share a deep commitment to member owned, not for profit care that puts people first. I’m looking forward to working with the board to strengthen collaboration across the sector and support a health system that delivers for members now and into the future.”
